With more than 700 million active monthly users, Instagram is by far one of the most popular social networking platforms. Nearly half of Instagram’s active users are on Android devices. This is no surprise as Android is now the most popular OS on the entire planet. Because Instagram is a photo sharing platform, it’s only natural that you might want to download images and videos from it. Unfortunately, Instagram has no direct method to download photos to your device. There is a number of methods, however, to work around this shortfall. We will look at one that I think is very convenient and pretty straight forward.
Guide to downloading Instagram photos and videos
To download photos and videos on Instagram, follow the steps below;
- Download and install the Instagram for Android app from Google Play.
- Download and install
- Start Easy Downloader for Instagram the download mode checkbox is selected. You can also configure the app to autostart on a system boot by selecting the Autostart checkbox.
- After starting Easy Downloader for Instagram you are ready to start downloading from Instagram. Open the Instagram app and sign in.
- When you see a photo or video that you want to download just click the 3 dots on the top right of the post and select ‘Copy Share URL.’ DONE! The picture or video is now downloading and you can view it in the gallery
